This is one of the saddest days in my life. My best friend, my chocolate lab, "Skid" is in too much pain, and we are going to put him down this evening. He has been a good friend throughout my high school years and beyond. He turned 8 years old in October, and later in October the vet found cancer. We had a good last couple weeks, We did some things that he LOVES doing, and got to spend some quality time together. Among other things, he helped me wash my truck and my dad's truck, he was running after the water coming out of the hose. You would've thought that nothing was wrong with him. He is very tired and very weak now. Farewell Skid, he will get one last ride in my truck, and will be coming back home. He will always have a special place in my heart! My heart truely does belong to a chocolate Lab!

Ryan, we love you so much and hope time eases your pain. Skid was an awesome dog, but you made the right decision, he was in so much pain. He is in a better place, and has NO MORE pain. We love you! XOXOXOXOXOX
